I'm Jade.

Growing up in the mountains of Virginia I had a fondness for snakes, ruffle socks, playing in the woods, and asking about one thousand questions a day. That same curiosity still pushes me, but now with my camera I can document everything I love, want to know more about, or find beautifully interesting. I am a story teller by heart and have a tendency to notice all the small details that narrate your story. I get excited by how photography can create a magical experience that can take you back to a moment, a laugh, a smile, a hug, a cry, bringing you right back to those sentimental connections.

I graduated with a Master's in Photography at SCAD and have a undergrad degree in interior design and photography. I have spent a lot of time studying the art of photography, composition, and creating real emotional imagery.

I tend to consider myself a bit of a rainbow - I love bold and bright things. I am a dreamer, who believes magic is happening around us all the time. We just have to take the time to look. I also believe that we must make life itself an art. Whether that be in the colorful clothes, how you decorate you house, good laughs with friends, walks in the woods - life is simply extraordinary and we have to slow down and look at all the wonderment that surrounds us.
